Abe first became Prime Minister in September 2006. Just before Abe's inauguration, his exposure in extreme-right magazines suddenly increased. After Abe's resign in August 2007, he once disappeared even from extreme-right magazines.
But after Liberal Democratic Party's landslide defeat of the September 2009 general election, Abe had come back to extreme-right magazines and has increased his exposure. After he took back Prime Minister's office in December 2012, he continues to write in extreme right-wing magazines like "Monthly Will" or "Monthly Hanada."
