Monthly Magazine "HANADA" was named after the family name of its editor in chief, Kazuyoshi Hanada. Hanada was the editor in chief of monthly magazine "Marco Polo" published by Bungei Shunju Publishing. "Marco Polo" published a Holocaust denial article in 1995. After being blamed by Jewish community, including Simon Wiesenthal Center, Bungei Shunju Publishing decided to discontinue "Marco Polo", fired Hanada and its president resigned.
After leaving "Marco Polo", Hanada became editor in chief of "Mothly Will" of WAC Publishing. But when the president of WAC Publishing required cost cut, Hanada left that magazine and started a new magazine, "Monthly Hanada" with Asuka Publishing. Therefore, "Monthly Will" and "Monthly Hanada" shares almost same extreme right tendency.
